TikTok is the world’s biggest stage.

From acting tips to audition tapes, TikTok has fundamentally changed the film industry. But as an aspiring young actor without a foot in the door, it can feel like you’re competing against everyone with a smartphone. As the UK’s largest telco and a longstanding BAFTA partner, EE wanted to give unspotted acting talent another route into the industry.


Idea

Win a part in a film. On TikTok.

EE partnered with BAFTA to create a world-first. We reserved a part in a major motion picture for an unspotted talent on TikTok. To enter, simply stitch our launch video with your best performance of a villain. The challenge was fronted by BAFTA Rising Star winner Micheal Ward AKA Jamie from Top Boy.

Next, we gave away trade secrets from Hollywood’s finest on EE’s TikTok with our ‘Perfect Your Entry’ daily content series. Mastering accents with Stephen Graham, Crafting your character with Daisy Edgar-Jones, Learning lines with Himesh Patel, and Self-tape success with Mia-Mckenna Bruce. The list goes on…

And on BAFTA night, world-famous actors like Richard E. Grant shone a spotlight on the competition by giving an iconic villain performance, right on the red carpet.
