Lyft
Virtual Pick-Me-Ups

Idea

Delivering virtual pick-me-ups.

Lyft didn’t want to be the biggest rideshare brand on social. They want to be the biggest brand on social, period. So we weren’t just competing with Ub*r. We were competing with meme accounts, celebrities, comedians, and other brands too.

So we set about delivering virtual pick-me-ups that were designed to keep Lyft top-of-mind the next time Gen Z or Millennials needed to catch a ride.

Impact

Our glow up didn’t go unnoticed.

  • Lyft went viral 3 times in 3 months:
Pete Davidson, free therapy, and pass the aux.

  • We created a meme format that was jumped on by brands like Burger King, Papa Johns, and IMAX.

  • 7M impressions for the Pete Davidson post.

  • Press coverage in Buzzfeed, Yahoo Life, and Digg.
